Installing the browser extension

We currently support all Chromium-based browsers and Safari.
Installation links
⁕ Chrome, Brave, Opera, Edge (install via Chrome store)
Other chromium browsers can install the mymind Chrome extension too. We don't offer support for deprecated browsers such as Arc.
⁕ Safari (install via our macOS app)
⁕ Firefox (manual installation required)
Firefox, Zen, etc. are no longer officially supported, due to limitations from the Mozilla team. You can manually install an older version of our extension (v2.2.0)
How to install the browser extension
- Click on the link to your preferred browser. If you're unsure if your browser is supported, contact us.
- For Chrome and other Chromium browsers, click Add to Chrome on the Chrome store, then Add extension in the popup.
- To get the Safari extension, download the macOS app, and the extension will appear in your browser automatically. (Don't see it? Turn the extension on in Safari’s Settings, under Extensions).
- Pin the extension to your toolbar by opening your Extensions and clicking the Pin icon.
- Make sure you're signed in at access.mymind.com. (For Safari, make sure you're signed in to the Mac app)
How to use the browser extension
You can save just about anything to your mind with the browser extension, including text, images, websites, articles, and social media posts. Right click any selected text, link, or media and choose Add to my mind to save it to your mind.

- Open your mind by right clicking the extension and choosing Open my mind
- Save to your mind instantly with the keyboard shortcut ⌘⇧S (Chrome extension only)
- Omnibox search support: type mm, press [SPACE], enter your query, then press [RETURN ] into the search bar (Chrome extension only)
Troubleshooting
- “Could not save to mymind. Please make sure to sign in”: sign in again at access.mymind.com in that browser.
- “Forbidden”: contact support with a screenshot and link to what you were trying to save.
