Keyboard Shortcuts

A few shortcuts to help you move faster in your mind.

Search

• Focus the search field: ENTER
• Once you're searching, narrow to a card type or start a Deep Search: ↓ then ← →
• Reset the search entirely: ESC

Notes & cards

• Create a new note: N
• Save a note as a new card: ⌘/CTRL + ENTER
• Open Focus Mode while writing a note: ⌘ + SHIFT + F
• Formatting and insert options in a new line of a note: /
• With a card open, focus the tag field: ENTER
• Close a card you have open: ESC

Navigating & Serendipity

• Move between cards: ← →
• In Serendipity, forget a card: ←
• In Serendipity, keep a card: →

Browser extension

• Save the current page to mymind: ⌘/CTRL + SHIFT + S
• Search from the address bar (Omnibox support): type MM, press SPACE, type your query, press ENTER

macOS app

• Quit: ⌘Q
• Hide app: ⌘H
• Minimize: ⌘M
• Close window: ⌘W
