Using todos in mymind

mymind allows you to create and manage your todo lists in a clean, simple way without complicated organization systems and clutter.

Adding new todo lists:

To add a numbered list or checklist, type your list in a quick note, then highlight it and select the checklist option.

You can also add lists using markdown, by typing enclose brackets like so: [ ] and hitting enter. This creates a new todo item.To find todos in your mind later, just search "todos."

Prioritizing todo lists in your mind:

To prioritize a weekly todo list in your mind, try dragging it to the Top of Mind area right under the search bar.

This will keep your list pinned to the top of your screen where you can easily find it later.

Troubleshooting: Todos don't work in a new note on iOS

Our current new note editor does not support formatting or Markdown shortcuts yet, as when it was originally developed it was meant for jotting down quick notes and thoughts. (We're working on bringing it up to speed with our other editors though, stay tuned!)

To make a checklist on iOS, here's what you'll want to do:

  1. Start a new note, as usual
  2. Write down the title of your todo in the first line
  3. Save the note
  4. Re-open the note
  5. You are now in our newer editor, and can format the todo as you'd like. Add some items and highlight them to turn them into a checklist, or use the markdown shortcut [ ]
