Website screenshots don't work?

Sometimes our screenshot service fails to capture the right things. There can be many reasons for this, but here are a few common ones:

1. We can't capture pages behind a login. This means, if you're logged in to a page that is not public, our screenshot service sadly cannot access it. We can only access pages right now that are available to everybody. If you want to take a screenshot of a page that is behind a login, please use your regular screenshot tool (Mac or Windows) and manually upload or drag and drop the screenshot into mymind. We hope to improve this over time with our own screenshot tool so it's a bit easier for you.

2. Complicated pages that use a lot of javascript and have complex loading animations can often look a bit strange in mymind because we weren't able to capture it properly. If that happens, please also use your manual screenshot tool in the meantime.

3. We might not take a screenshot of a page if mymind thinks there is a better way to display it in your mind. You can for example see this with tweets, products, wikipedia pages, articles, products, youtube videos and many more.
